The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process payroll, including tax filings and benefits administration.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Oversee office supplies inventory and procurement.
• Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for financial records and office documents.
• Coordinate vendor relations and manage facility-related service requests.
• Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as onboarding and record-keeping.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally with all levels of staff and external contacts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in an office management role within a manufacturing or similar industry.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and cost accounting in a manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with expense management software (e.g., Concur, Expensify)
• Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., CB, QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor) or office administration
