Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathic assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, tailored to address trauma, anxiety, and depression.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate consistently with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, addiction specialists, and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.

• Stay informed about current research and treatment modalities in social work and addiction treatment to continually enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults facing challenges related to substance use, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have histories of complex psychological needs. Your role as an LCSW will be vital in providing culturally competent care and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages clients to engage in their recovery process actively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Connecticut.
