Our client is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with AT LEAST 3 years of experience to join their growing team! Job Responsibilities: GL accounting, month-end close, journal entries, GL & account reconciliations, variance analysis This position is 1 of 3 senior accountants, this position specifically focusing on: prepaids, accruals, BS account reconciliations, sales tax, and inventory-related accounts Perform account reconciliations, create reconciliations for new accounts Work with inventory manager for inventory related accounting, including 3 way matching Reports directly to the assistant controller Responsible for general and technical accounting functions, preparing financial and accounting schedules, monthly and quarterly P&L analysis and management reporting Requirements MULTI-ENTITY / MULTI-LOCATION ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED At least 3 years of corporate accounting experience, including exposure to full GL (has worked with all BS/PL accounts, has good understanding of full GL) Highly detailed, self-motivated, independent, able to start and finish tasks, ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment Organized, able to prioritize and communicate as needed to ensure work is done timely and accurately Experience in restaurant, inventory, retail, hospitality, entertainment, food/beverage a plus NetSuite experience is preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
