Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with patients suffering from chronic pain, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, physical therapists, and health coaches.

• Empower patients by facilitating skills training that encourages self-management of their conditions through education about holistic approaches to pain relief.

• Provide emotional support and counseling to help patients address and navigate the psychological challenges associated with chronic pain conditions.

• Guide patients in adopting lifestyle changes and self-care practices that promote their overall well-being, such as mindfulness, nutrition, and physical activity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing chronic pain, which may include conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, and other medically complex issues. You will engage with diverse clients, including those who may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. Understanding the interplay between mental and physical health is essential as you develop strategies to support these individuals through their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field is required.

• Current, valid, and active LMHC license in Washington State is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
