Lab Assistant - Specimen Processing

Tasks and Responsibilities
This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.

- Ensure the correct specimen is collected for each test ordered
- Ensure the patient's full name, Date of Birth, date/time of collection and barcode are on the specimens
- Log each specimen into the LIS
- Responsible for informing facility that a redraw is needed if the specimen cannot be tested
- Other duties.
