What You Will Do

• Conduct a variety of both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols.
• Review results carefully for accuracy, identify and rectify any errors, and manage the preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and aid in the preparation of samples for further testing.
• Document all lab processes meticulously, engage in the training of new employees or students, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure working environment while adhering closely to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, is required along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining certification from ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment is necessary.
• Maintain ongoing current certification as part of your employment obligations.
