Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification required
• Experience teaching in inclusion and/or resource classroom settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain effective documentation for a caseload of 10-15 students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction for 3 inclusion classes and 2 resource classes, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Serve as a dedicated resource for students with special needs, adapting materials and strategies to support individual learning
• Utilize 2 prep periods for lesson planning, collaboration, and documentation
• Maintain communication and collaboration with general educators, parents, and staff
• Work closely with the on-site Case Manager, who provides compliance oversight and ongoing support
• Track student progress, complete necessary paperwork, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
