Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at NewBetterYou Healthcare Services, you will:

• Complete required statistical reports to monitor patient progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to coordinate access, housing, and treatment plans for incarcerated patients.

• Develop and facilitate engaging group treatment sessions on mental health observation units, focusing on relevant therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations, while participating in weekly clinical supervision.

• Engage actively in mental health and medical rounds to discuss treatment plans and ongoing case management.

• Contribute to case conferences and treatment planning discussions to ensure comprehensive care for patients receiving and being considered for mental health treatment.

• Conduct psychological assessments and, if necessary, supervise social work interns or student volunteers.

• Carry out crisis interventions, mental health evaluations, and follow-up care, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.

• Coordinate patient dispositions to ensure the appropriate level of mental health care and collaborate with Reentry Social Workers for effective discharge planning.
