TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: 2 years of experience in large hospital settings Epic charting experience Ability to float to various units as needed Description: This position requires registered nurses who are prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. Travelers will be assigned to various units based on their experience. Nurses may also float to a nearby campus. Units may include, but are not limited to various medical-surgical and telemetry settings. Registered nurses must be proficient in managing drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and using rapid response teams. A patient ratio of 5-6 is expected during days, and 6 during nights. Nurses will work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the winter season. RTO requests must be submitted with the application and must be limited to two weeks. The facility adheres to a strict nicotine-free policy. Candidates must have experience with cardiac drips and be comfortable monitoring patients in a telemetry setting. Travelers are required to wear designated scrubs with a specific color and logo. All submissions must meet compliance standards, including fully completing required documentation within specified timeframes. This role supports an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
