Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely within a school setting, allowing for flexible scheduling while ensuring that our healthcare professionals remain accessible to students and their families. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This unique environment fosters collaboration with school staff and provides an opportunity for our LICSWs to engage directly with the student population, addressing their mental health needs effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Liaison with Families and Providers: Serve as the primary point of contact for families and outpatient providers, ensuring clear and compassionate communication to support the mental health needs of students.

• Insurance Coordination: Interact with insurance companies to manage pre-certifications and engage in proactive utilization management, ensuring that clients receive timely access to the services they require.

• Discharge Planning: Participate in the development of discharge and aftercare plans, helping clients transition back into their home or educational settings with ongoing support and resources.

• Therapeutic Meal Support: Provide guidance during meal times, promoting healthy eating habits while modeling a positive relationship with food, crucial for individuals dealing with eating disorders.

• Empathetic Client Care: Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care, tailoring approaches to respect and address the unique circumstances and intersecting identities of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus extends to a varied patient population, primarily centered around students. This position requires developing effective therapeutic relationships with clients who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and related behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
