Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite, primarily in patients' homes throughout the Clearwater area. Working in a home care setting provides the unique opportunity to engage with patients in their daily environments, fostering a deeper understanding of their challenges and achievements. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient physical conditions and functional capabilities, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to develop a clear treatment strategy.
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans based on each patient's personal needs, goals, and preferences, adjusting as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Deliver hands-on therapy that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise regimens, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes that enhance long-term wellness.
• Document patient progress meticulously and make informed adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic, coordinated care for patients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in physical therapy, integrating new techniques and best practices into your treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages requiring rehabilitation for various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and geriatric concerns. You will work closely with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life through compassionate and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in Florida.
• At least three years of direct experience in physical therapy, demonstrating a proven ability to apply clinical skills effectively in diverse settings.
• Strong proficiency in performing and evaluating therapeutic techniques, ensuring each treatment aligns with best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintaining a focus on patient-centered practices.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in home care settings and those who have worked with older adults and patients with complex medical needs. Familiarity with innovative therapeutic technologies and modalities will also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life Physiotherapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
