About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Development Services, Capex, and Design Execution to lead the capital planning, FF&E strategy, and hotel opening support across its portfolio. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Design and Development Services team, responsible for guiding the creation of unique design solutions that align with the brand's philosophies and exceed guest expectations. This role involves directing capital improvement and renovation planning, engaging with corporate operations and property leadership, and providing executive oversight of the annual capital budget process. The VP, DS will also serve as the company's FF&E subject matter expert, ensuring the implementation of FF&E standards and overseeing the procurement strategy to maintain the quality and design intent of the properties. A minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience is required, along with an associate degree or higher in a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
