Job Description: Are you looking for a job in a growing company with stable hours and great benefits? Then we would like to talk to you! We are currently looking for a full-time Billing Assistant to work with our billing team and service our customers at Pro2.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming patient billing calls and process payments

• Place outgoing calls to customers to obtain payment information

• Follow up with customers by phone regarding balances due

• Process prior authorization requests for rental equipment

• Review and request documentation from physician offices to support medical necessity for equipment and supplies

• Develop and maintain positive customer relations and ensure customer inquiries are answered in a timely and caring manner

• Partner internally to create a seamless experience for our customers and resolve potential issues.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA Guidelines/regulations when handling patient information

• Complete other duties and miscellaneous projects as assigned

Physical requirements/ Abilities:

• Sit for long periods of time

• Use a phone or headset

• Speak clearly during in-person and telephone interactions

• Occasionally lift up to 25lbs

Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work through and resolve issues and inquires with clients

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions

• Advanced beginner to Intermediate computer skills

• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

• Demonstrates attention to detail

• Dependable, with a strong work ethic and a team player

• Experience in Billing and/or healthcare preferred (but not required)
