Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique goals and healthcare needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate symptom management and recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care practices to enhance their understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress closely, adapting treatment plans as necessary to respond to individual needs and circumstances.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to patient care that acknowledges both psychological and medical needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with individuals who are facing challenges related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. This role requires a strong ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients, promoting an inclusive atmosphere that respects diverse perspectives and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a strong understanding of psychopharmacology.
