Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat to foster improved mental health outcomes.

• Promote open discussions around emotions and life experiences to help clients gain insights into their personal challenges and interpersonal relationships.

• Act as a compassionate advocate for clients, assisting them in setting and achieving therapeutic goals.

• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and collaboratively develop treatment plans utilizing a solution-based approach tailored to each client's needs.

• Maintain documentation of client progress and treatment plans while adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines within your practice.

• Participate in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive support from peers and supervisors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve have been pre-screened to have stable mental health conditions with low acuity, which allows you to focus on preventative and developmental aspects of mental health care. This demographic ensures a constructive and supportive therapeutic relationship, where clients are motivated to engage in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an independent mental health license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) as recognized by the state of California.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and make informed treatment recommendations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to empathize and build rapport with clients.
\n
• Strong proficiency in using technology to facilitate online therapy sessions and manage client records effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in an outpatient setting providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience in using digital tools for therapeutic practices are advantageous.
