About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Land Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of an existing book of business, leading and mentoring a team of engineers and project managers, and overseeing a variety of development projects. This role requires a strategic and business-minded approach to project delivery, strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to drive business development efforts and ensure the technical quality and profitability of projects. Applicants must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, a minimum of 8 years' of civil engineering experience with a focus on land development, and a proven track record in leading engineering teams and managing client relationships. A strong background in site development, grading, stormwater, and permitting is essential, as is experience with Civil 3D and related design software. The ideal candidate will also have a background in business development, account management, or revenue growth, and will be expected to help shape the strategic direction of the land development practice within the company.
