Special Education Teacher- High School Inclusion

Job Summary (List Format) Special Education Teacher (High School, 2026-27 School Year)

- Position: Special Education Teacher for high school inclusion students
- Start Date: ASAP through June 3, 2027
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 3:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
- Compensation: $44-47 per hour, W-2 (based on experience)
- Location: North Carolina (state certification required)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Valid NC special education teaching certificate with adapted curriculum license
- Previous experience in special education (resource/self-contained classrooms, 1:1, or with students exhibiting externalizing behaviors)
- Experience with IEPs, lesson planning, and collaboration with faculty and parents
- Strong desire to connect and engage with students

Responsibilities:
- Work with high school inclusion caseload
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents
- Support students academically, socially, and emotionally
