Work Environment

This position is based onsite, primarily in the comfortable homes of our patients located in Hialeah, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, and establish effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Guide patients and their families on appropriate exercise techniques to enhance mobility and strength, ensuring they have the knowledge to continue progress at home.
• Educate patients on in-home treatment options, injury prevention, ergonomics, and maintaining physical health through lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and integrate care approaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care history, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Uphold ethical standards in all aspects of your practice while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients dealing with temporary or long-term disabilities, aiming to relieve pain, restore function, and promote recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The majority of our patients are individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or living with disabilities. Our approach is personalized, focusing on the physiological and emotional needs of our clients, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages active participation in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, necessary for effective interaction with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• A proven ability to flourish in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, dependent on caseload and experience.
