Work Environment

This position involves on-site work specifically in home care settings. You will work closely with a small, dedicated team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide patients with comprehensive therapy tailored to their unique needs. Our collaborative team atmosphere ensures that every member contributes to exceptional patient outcomes and a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, needs, and limitations, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Manage a caseload effectively, providing care to one patient per hour to allow for focused, high-quality treatment.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that integrate diverse treatment techniques aimed at improving mobility and function.
• Provide cost-effective therapies that enhance patients' range of motion while reducing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs to align with each patient's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize your expertise in manual therapy and exercise protocols to deliver consistent and effective care.
• Foster strong patient motivation through regular encouragement and support, optimizing recovery and encouraging a proactive approach to health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress thoroughly to maintain clear communication within the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population dealing with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient therapy. Our clientele includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation patients. You will have the opportunity to tailor care plans to address specific challenges while promoting long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida must be maintained.
• A clean professional record free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing exercise protocols.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred to ensure familiarity with specialized care and interventions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
