Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to become a vital member of our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will work closely with patients to facilitate their recovery and enhance their overall functionality through comprehensive physical therapy interventions. At Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient care, operating from our state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility. Our practice is owned and managed by licensed physical therapists, dedicated to delivering high-quality treatment to individuals with private medical insurance. We pride ourselves on fostering a caring environment that emphasizes individualized treatment plans and patient-centered care.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our advanced rehabilitation facility, designed for optimal patient engagement and recovery. You will collaborate in a supportive atmosphere alongside two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), ensuring a dynamic approach to patient care. Our schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients to identify their specific goals and care requirements, ensuring personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation objectives.
• Manage a caseload with an emphasis on one-on-one therapy sessions to deliver focused and effective care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to provide evidence-based treatment procedures that enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at increasing each patient's range of motion and overall function.
• Guide patients in alternatives to medication and surgeries, promoting a holistic approach to recovery.
• Design and oversee comprehensive care plans incorporating a variety of treatment techniques and modalities.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique needs of each individual to sustain their mobility and functional abilities.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout the therapy process, providing encouragement and support to foster their maximum potential.
• Promote healthy lifestyles by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through structured exercise interventions.
• Engage in continuous communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and maintain thorough documentation of all services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on outpatient orthopedic patients who are seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your role is pivotal in helping these individuals regain their independence and active lifestyles through effective rehabilitation strategies. By customizing treatment to their specific needs, you will directly influence their recovery experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong professional track record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, ensuring clinic standards for care.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols based on best practices.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, for efficient record keeping and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in outpatient orthopedic settings, understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by this patient demographic.
• Demonstrated success in implementing evidence-based practices and adapting treatment plans based on patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
