We specialize in orthopedic outpatient therapy and serve a diverse clientele, primarily with private medical insurance. Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our expansive, well-equipped rehabilitation center. Our facility boasts modern capabilities designed to facilitate tailored physical therapy sessions and sports medicine practices. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance while allowing therapists to dedicate time to their patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to efficiently identify patients' goals, objectives, and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring quality, individualized attention to each patient.
• Apply expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to develop and implement effective treatment strategies that improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Foster a rehabilitation environment that emphasizes cost-effective treatment options, minimizing reliance on medications where possible.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique needs, incorporating various treatment techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery and improve patient outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients to remain engaged and proactive in their therapy, fostering a spirit of resilience and determination.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and referring patients when necessary.
• Document patient progress meticulously and evaluate treatment outcomes to modify care plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries and conditions. We cater to a range of patients, including athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from surgeries. Our goal is to help them regain movement and reach peak functionality through personalized, hands-on care strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy and demonstrated competence in designing and executing exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative and effective rehabilitation programs based on current evidence and patient needs.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within a healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits
