Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work onsite in a supportive and collaborative environment. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and resources designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation. You will be surrounded by a team of professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and supportive administrative staff, all focused on providing optimal patient outcomes. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of therapeutic interventions and patient management tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, which involves reviewing medical histories, performing targeted assessments, and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing treatment protocols that are tailored to each patient's specific needs, ensuring a high standard of care based on the latest clinical guidelines.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' progress, including adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition.
• Implementing discharge planning and follow-up care while maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Engaging with interdisciplinary teams to collaborate on patient care and consult with physicians when necessary, ensuring a cohesive approach to rehabilitation.
• Maintaining compliance with corporate, clinical, and regulatory training and requirements to uphold the highest standards in patient care.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to facility meetings to discuss care protocols and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is dedicated to a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgical interventions, trauma, degenerative conditions, and sports-related injuries. You will work closely with individuals of various ages and backgrounds, employing specialized strategies to aid their recovery journey. By understanding each patient's unique challenges, you will deliver treatment that not only addresses physical limitations but also encourages emotional and psychological resilience.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a physical therapist in Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience specializing in orthopedic physical therapy is required. Candidates with a strong background in outpatient settings and experience with diverse treatment modalities will be highly valued. Additional certifications or training in specialty areas such as sports rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, or pain management will be considered a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
