Work Environment

As a physical therapist in our rehabilitation facility, you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured environment where patient care is our top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and recognize patients' objectives to create tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive and focused treatment.
• Employ advanced orthopedic techniques to administer effective therapies that improve clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Formulate and implement personalized treatment protocols, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options while effectively minimizing reliance on medications for pain management.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique needs and long-term goals.
• Deliver evidence-based care focused on proven interventions, improving patient functionality and overall satisfaction.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the treatment process, fostering their confidence and determination.
• Evaluate patient outcomes diligently, monitor progress regularly, and maintain effective communication with clients and their families.
• Accurately document all services rendered, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and enhancing continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your focus will be on restoring mobility, strength, and functionality, catering to a diverse clientele ranging from athletes to elderly individuals seeking to regain independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary issues.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of administering cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing dependency on pain medications.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to USD 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
