We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Advanced Global Movement Rehab Center located in beautiful Miami, Florida . Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite in patients' homes, allowing therapists to administer personalized care in a comfortable environment for patients. By working directly in their living environments, you will address specific challenges and tailor treatments to meet their unique needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations which include reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and determining treatment recommendations.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and collaborate with patients and their families to set realistic and achievable goals.
• Demonstrate expertise in implementing customized treatment protocols based on each patient's evaluation, progress, and evolving healthcare needs.
• Coordinate care by consulting with interdisciplinary team members as needed, ensuring modifications to patient care plans are documented and communicated effectively.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up procedures, meticulously documenting all patient interactions and care details in an electronic health record using WebPT EMR software.
• Maintain productivity expectations and manage time efficiently, including participating in community outreach and marketing activities.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development, taking the lead on clinical training for students and less experienced staff.
• Promote an excellent customer experience and facilitate accessibility to care while actively participating in initiatives aimed at overcoming healthcare access barriers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and rehabilitative needs following trauma. Your empathetic approach will enable you to develop strong therapeutic relationships, contributing significantly to patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No prior records or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated competency in creating and implementing effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Experience and proficiency in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a home care setting is preferred.
• Experience working with orthopedic patients, particularly post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually .
