Senior Accountant

Accounting AnalystOur client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its finance team. This role supports financial operations through a combination of transaction processing, account analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.The position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance while developing expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational accounting.Support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial recordsPrepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesProcess customer billings and ensure accurate application of incoming paymentsReview outstanding customer balances and collaborate with internal stakeholders on resolution effortsAssist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and supporting schedulesAnalyze financial data and provide reporting that supports management decision-makingParticipate in budget preparation and financial forecasting activitiesMaintain documentation supporting key accounting transactions and controlsAssist with audit requests and compliance-related initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencyPartner with operations, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure financial accuracyMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
