Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys supporting customers, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely service.

The Inside Sales Representative will work with customers in an industrial parts environment, helping manage inquiries, order status updates, and sales support needs. Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare customer quotations, process orders, and ensure information is accurate in internal systems.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams regarding inventory, shipments, and customer order status.
- Support the outside sales team with customer follow-up, documentation, and account updates.
- Maintain accurate customer records, order details, and communication notes.
- Provide a high level of customer service while helping resolve order, product, and delivery questions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product and order information, and support customer needs.
- Prepare quotes, enter orders, and coordinate order fulfillment with internal departments.
- Maintain customer records and support sales activities through organized follow-up.
- Communicate order status updates and help resolve customer service issues.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Customer service or inside sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally by phone and email.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Experience using ERP systems or similar order entry systems is helpful.
- Ability to work effectively with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams.
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach to daily work.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with industrial products, automotive parts, bearings, or related technical products.
- Previous business-to-business inside sales or order processing experience.
- Familiarity with inventory, shipping, purchasing, or warehouse coordination processes.
