Bilingual HR Generalist

This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, including, but not limited to: employee relations, compensation and benefits, new hire onboarding, off-boarding, policy implementation, organizational change and employment law compliance etc... As a member of the HR Team, this role serves on the HR front lines in support of the businesses. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Must be Bilingual (Spanish/English) Reports to the site Human Resources Manager and has no direct or indirect reports Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests from employees, and external customers Navigate and assist in the resolution of employee issues; leading employee relations initiatives and investigations to ensure a positive and fair work environment Collaborate with department leaders to execute HR processes and associated activities Implement and manage various HR and campus-wide initiatives, including, but not limited to safety events, annual performance review process, benefits open enrollment, new programs/policies, and training initiatives Provide information and tools to support effective delivery of HR services and processes, including HR related systems Champion change and effectively guide management and associates through organizational change Accurate data entry into HRIS system and related HR technologies Seeks learning and development opportunities to improve professional competencies and stays current on HR practices through benchmarking, networking, and exposure to business related research/publications Organize and lead New Employee Onboarding Manages benefits administration to include benefit orientation for new hires, enrollment guidance, issue resolution, claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees Responsible for aiding team members with FMLA, leave of absences, and accommodation requests Process Workers Compensation claims and support the employee through the process Facilitate inquires that come into HR - benefits, policies, 'how to', etc. and field basic HR policy questions while navigating HR compliance Assist with company-wide committee facilitation and employee communication Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements and reporting Participate in developing HR goals, objectives, and processes Support recruiting Perform other related duties as required and assigned Required Skills/Abilities Exemplary associate status within the organization who is willing to work as a team member Manufacturing experience a plus Good communication skills Experience with HRIS systems Exemplary attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven talent acquisition/staffing skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Education and Experience Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 2-5 years progressive human resources experience preferred but not required Manufacturing experience a plus Must be authorized to work in the United States (we are a E-Verify company) and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
