Work Environment\n

The Therapist position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to conduct sessions with clients across a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma history and help identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Crafting and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in processing their trauma.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients develop coping strategies, process their experiences, and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Engaging in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care and holistic support for patients.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to alleviate distress.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to foster a cohesive approach to trauma-informed care while also seeking opportunities for professional development.

• Staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the effectiveness of your therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events. Our patient population comprises adults and adolescents grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to positively impact their lives by providing the compassionate support and guidance they need during their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably in trauma-informed care.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, demonstrating emotional resilience.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications that support telehealth practices.
\n
• A demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly desirable:

Compensation and Benefits\n
