This role is designed for a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the unique trauma histories of patients, aiming to identify the most suitable treatment trajectories.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are centered on trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based approaches to resilience-building.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver compassionate support in individual therapy sessions that allow patients to process trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote healing and community among trauma survivors.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Execute crisis intervention strategies for trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and equip them with coping mechanisms and available resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our client population is vital. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet individual needs, fostering an environment of trust and empathy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, providing a foundation of practical knowledge in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
