Senior Business Development Manager - Boston, MA

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in Cell & Gene Therapy within the Boston territory. The role focuses on identifying and converting new customer opportunities among emerging biotech and clinical-stage organizations, leveraging integrated supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory plan focused on new logo acquisition and market penetration
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with Cell & Gene Therapy companies
- Generate and maintain robust pipeline through prospecting, market intelligence, and industry networking
- Position integrated CTD and Pharma Services Group solutions to accelerate customer development programs
- Build relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders across clinical supply chain and operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- 3+ years business development or strategic sales in pharma, biotech, CDMO, CRO, or clinical supply chain
- Proven success in new business acquisition and territory development
- Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and manage complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of drug development and clinical supply chain
- Experience selling Cell & Gene Therapy or specialty pharma preferred
Compensation: $102,200–$153,350 base
