Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist at several schools in the San Juan Capistrano area. This assignment will cover a leave of absence, with a likely mid-October start date and the potential for extending through the school year.

Your expertise will be instrumental for students across preschool, elementary, and middle school settings. Expect to work full-time, Monday through Friday, assigned to an average caseload of about 55 students per SLP.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP license required
• Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
• Strong organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple age groups
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and effectively engage with families

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy to students in preschool, elementary, and middle school environments
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate records, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to support each child’s goals
