Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ speech and language development in a collaborative K-12 school setting near Mission Viejo, CA. This position focuses on covering a leave of absence and offers immediate, full-time openings working with preschool, elementary, and middle school populations. You’ll help students enhance their communication skills, working within dedicated teams at multiple campuses in the San Juan Capistrano area. Start dates are flexible—beginning as soon as mid-October—and full-time coverage is needed through December, with a strong possibility to extend and finish out the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active, current California SLP license
• Previous experience providing speech and language services in school settings (preschool, elementary, or middle school)
• Ability to manage a caseload averaging 55 students per assignment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable adapting to multiple campus environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students, including assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student goals
• Document services and maintain compliance with procedural requirements
• Deliver therapy both individually and in small group settings
• Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment
