This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in a collaborative educational setting and are eager to help learners from preschool through middle school in the San Juan Capistrano area.

As an SLP in this full-time, on-site role, you’ll work within a well-established district serving approximately 55 students per caseload. You will support classrooms at the preschool, elementary, and middle school levels. This position is a leave of absence coverage, anticipated to start mid-October (exact start and end dates to be confirmed), with a high potential for extension through the end of the school year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
• Current, active California SLP license
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings is valued
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based therapy and documentation standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to students individually or in groups, in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of student progress
