Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Rover in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help identify suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report policy violations or maintenance issues. Support day-to-day operations by completing reports, logging incidents, and following Allied Universal and site guidelines for unarmed post coverage. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
