Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in need of rehabilitation services to ascertain their specific needs and conditions.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and therapeutic goals to facilitate patient recovery.
• Administer a variety of treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress by documenting treatments and outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about exercise routines, assistive devices, and techniques for continued recovery and self-care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and to provide training on rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and expanding your knowledge of current practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children to seniors, encompassing a wide variety of diagnoses including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with each individual to understand their unique circumstances and goals, helping them reclaim their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans to patients and their families.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including word processing.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to the demands of the role.

Preferred Experience
