Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Kinetic Care Center, you will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can thrive alongside a passionate team of healthcare professionals. Our outpatient facility is designed to offer a modern, welcoming space for our patients to feel comfortable and supported during their recovery. Your hours will be Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a focused work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Your principal responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality, patient-centered care by comprehensively managing the therapeutic care process for a designated group of patients in collaboration with physicians and the broader care team.
• Conducting initial patient assessments to identify therapeutic needs, followed by the development and implementation of individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Continuously monitoring patient progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions, and ensuring that care is tailored to meet each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
• Delivering and facilitating therapeutic interventions in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines, assessing functional status, and adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Instructing patients, families, and caregivers on effective use of therapeutic exercises, equipment, and techniques to be utilized outside of therapy sessions for optimal recovery.
• Effectively prioritizing caseload, managing daily staffing requirements, and facilitating smooth transitions between care assignments and patient hand-offs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse range of patients with varying needs, encompassing both pediatric and adult populations. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, chronic conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. This role is pivotal in guiding patients through rehabilitation pathways to achieve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days of your start date.
• A passion for patient care with a focus on outcomes and satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of direct experience in a clinical setting is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply, as we value enthusiasm and a commitment to learning as key attributes for success in our organization.

Compensation and Benefits
