Work Environment

The work environment at Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic is both dynamic and supportive. As part of a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources. The clinic operates on a structured schedule, facilitating a healthy work-life balance, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. This full-time position ensures you will engage deeply with your patients and the overall treatment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to recognize their goals and individual needs, ensuring personalized care plans are developed and implemented.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to maintain high-quality care and attention.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to deliver effective, evidence-based interventions.
• Design and execute cost-effective treatment strategies that promote optimal motion, mobility, and functional independence.
• Work diligently to minimize medication reliance through the exploration of non-surgical alternatives and evidence-based practices.
• Develop care plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's condition and progression.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs to address the specific needs and goals of patients.
• Continuously motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey to maximize their functional outcomes.
• Promote a lifestyle focused on health by enhancing aspects such as strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring seamless transitions between various treatments.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate communication with patients regarding their recovery path.
• Document all clinical services provided accurately and timely within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions who are generally insured under private medical plans. You will work with a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, focusing on rehabilitation following surgery, injury recovery, and preventive care. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to navigate it efficiently.
• Motivated, compassionate, and capable of working collaboratively as part of a clinical team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide personalized physical therapy interventions and possess a passion for patient advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits
