Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, followed by the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Use a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and functional training, to improve patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Regularly track and document patient responses and progress, maintaining clear records that inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Engage with patients in various rehabilitation methods, ensuring they understand the purpose and processes of their therapy to help them adhere and achieve optimal results.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, including consultations with referring physicians and other therapists.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through participation in professional development workshops, networking with peers, and engaging in continuous clinical education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach to patient care is holistic, addressing not only physical recovery but also the emotional and psychological aspects of rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for patient documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic settings, is preferred.
• Experience working with assistive devices and educating patients on their use is advantageous.
• Prior mentorship experience or familiarity with teaching new graduates is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
