Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Serenity Orthopedic Care Solutions LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and thorough assessment results.
• Treating patients across diverse specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises to optimize recovery and enhance mobility.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in line with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Engaging with patients and their families to provide education on therapeutic exercises and promoting adherence to health plans.
• Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment approaches.
• Supporting the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and general musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New York.
• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic or related clinical setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in medical documentation.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to foster strong rapport with patients while demonstrating empathy and support.
• A proactive approach to patient engagement and community relationship building.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
