Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, gathering pertinent medical histories and assessment data to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Effectively explain evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in setting realistic and achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment protocols tailored to each patient's specific conditions, continuously monitoring progress and making mindful modifications as necessary based on clinical judgment and changes in patient presentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to coordinate care, document significant changes in patient health, and make referrals when additional medical or rehabilitation consultation is indicated.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all patient interactions, including focused initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge assessments, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintain high standards of time management and productivity, managing an accurate appointment schedule while being punctual for all professional commitments.
• Contribute to departmental goals and initiatives that enhance patient care and support organizational objectives, while actively participating in regulatory compliance efforts.
• Pursue professional development through continuing education and training opportunities, leveraging resources to advance personal and organizational competencies in healthcare.
• Foster a positive patient experience by being adaptable to their needs and ensuring excellent access to care.
• Actively engage in initiatives aimed at improving patient access and satisfaction, such as understanding data from patient feedback and adjusting strategies as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages recovering from surgery, injury, chronic pain, and other conditions requiring rehabilitation services. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license to practice physical therapy as required by Florida law.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, particularly focused on healthcare providers.
• No prior work experience is required; however, a passion for patient care is essential.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient rehab settings or specialized certifications (e.g., in orthopedics or sports therapy) are highly valued. A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based care model and an understanding of current rehabilitation techniques will distinguish exceptional applicants.
