Your work as a Physical Therapist will take place onsite at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Sanford. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and identifying appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs that are tailored to address the unique needs and goals of each patient, ensuring effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and the latest research in therapy to treat a diverse range of conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service by fostering strong communication with patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their treatment process.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team, working alongside other healthcare providers to maximize patient recovery and satisfaction.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions in the clinic, and if necessary, consider options for care in patient homes in accordance to the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, strategies for managing symptoms, and preventive exercises to promote ongoing health and wellness.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and actively contribute to the business's success by continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, focusing on rehabilitation.
• Certification in CPR and a commitment to maintaining current medical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in word processing and computer applications relevant to patient care and documentation.
• A track record of establishing and nurturing strong relationships with patients to facilitate meeting their rehabilitation goals.
