Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include an array of tasks designed to deliver effective physical therapy services, which encompass:

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans focused on restoring mobility and alleviating pain based on individual client needs.
• Directing and supervising physical therapy assistants to ensure the efficient execution of therapeutic interventions.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic methods to determine client functionality and suitability for specific rehabilitation strategies.
• Assessing the client's home environment to provide recommendations that enhance their independence and safety during recovery.
• Administering manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and performing modalities such as traction and massages to facilitate recovery.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing specialized recommendations to the medical team as needed.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes that comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on overall treatment plans and patient care strategies.
• Educating clients and their families on exercise programs, home-care techniques, and the proper use of therapy equipment.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the rehabilitation center's operations and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with clients recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic pain conditions, or rehabilitating from traumatic injuries. Our patient population is diverse, including individuals of all ages and varying levels of physical ability, each with unique rehabilitation goals. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be essential in empowering these clients to achieve optimal recovery and regain their independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Physical Therapist position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Current and active Physical Therapy licensure in Florida.
• Certification in CPR and knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
