Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities, medical history, and individual rehabilitation goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on best practices and the specific needs of diverse patient populations.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and patient education, to facilitate the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and enhance the effectiveness of treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Tufts, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population encompassing various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) obtained from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in using electronic medical records and other computer systems.
• A commitment to establishing meaningful connections with patients, facilitating their progress toward exceeding functional and recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates who have at least two years of clinical experience working in a physical therapy setting. Compensation and Benefits
