As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSun09:30 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through required reports and communication channels. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
