As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or operations location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations in required reports. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a positive, orderly environment. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
