Telepro Communications is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in the construction, telecommunications, fire protection, electrical, or service industries.

Key Responsibilities

● Maintain accurate financial records for multiple companies.

● Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity.

● Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and vendor statements.

● Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

● Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.

● Track project expenses, job costs, purchase orders, and company profitability.

● Review billing, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.

● Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.

● Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

● Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax preparation.

● Research and correct accounting discrepancies.

● Maintain confidentiality of company and employee financial information.

● Ensure accounting procedures comply with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualifications

● Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

● Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

● Experience with multi-company accounting is strongly preferred.

● Experience with construction accounting, job costing, or project-based accounting is preferred.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

● Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

● Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
