Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 20 Weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. - Traveler must work at least every other holiday. - An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate is required during orientation. Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment. This role may require floating to other units to care for similar patient populations. Shifts will rotate between nights and days, with a commitment to operational needs. The nurse must have a minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty. Travel experience in the specialty will be accepted. Candidates must have all required certifications active and available at the time of submission. References are required from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. The facility does not accept travelers with any active background cases or license hits. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements, however, other travelers must be nicotine-free with a negative drug screen completed within the previous 12 months. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months with a 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved. Modules are required both pre-start and annually, and will vary by specialty.
