Construction Recruiter: Fort Lauderdale, FL or Palm Beach Gardens, FL JRG Partners JRG Partners is seeking an experienced Construction Recruiter to join our executive search team. This is an internal recruiting position with JRG Partners focused on managing full-cycle searches for clients across the construction industry. The ideal candidate is a strong headhunter who understands how to identify, engage, assess, and close passive construction talent. This person will take ownership of searches from initial client intake through candidate placement and will work directly with hiring leaders throughout the process. Responsibilities Manage full lifecycle recruiting from search intake through offer negoiation. Partner with clients to understand position requirements, company culture, project environment, compensation, and critical hiring criteria. Develop targeted sourcing strategies based on geography, industry segment, competitors, project experience, and candidate background. Source and recruit candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, or other recruiting platforms. Conduct detailed candidate interviews to assess technical experience, project history, leadership ability, career progression, compensation, motivation, and overall fit. Present qualified candidates to clients with clear, concise candidate profiles and recommendations. Manage client and candidate communication throughout the search. Coordinate interviews, prepare candidates, gather feedback, and maintain momentum throughout the hiring process. Manage offer discussions, candidate closing, counteroffer risk, resignation, and start-date follow-through. Maintain accurate search activity, candidate pipelines, and follow-up across multiple assignments in ATS system. Perform business development through cold calling and warm leads. Qualifications 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred, ideally within construction, engineering, architecture, real estate development, or a related industry. Demonstrated success sourcing and recruiting passive candidates. Experience using ATS systems. Strong understanding of construction roles, terminology, career paths, and organizational structures. Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing/recruiting platforms. Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills. Business Development or account management experience. Ability to communicate confidently with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and business owners. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines simultaneously. Strong sense of urgency, follow-through, accountability, and attention to detail.
