Guest Experience Manager

Hotel Jerome has been the social hub of Aspen since its opening in 1889 at the height of the town’s silver boom, known as the place where all great stories were born and are told. As the only Aspen hotel to survive the silver crash, the long pre-ski‑resort winters, and the Depression, we’ve seen cowboys ride through our doors, 10th Mountain Division soldiers gather round over pints after training on the slopes, and Hunter S. Thompson holding court during his run for sheriff. You can’t experience Aspen without experiencing Jerome. The targeted compensation range for this full‑time year‑round, exempt position is $70,000 – $75,000 per year. Job Description Oversee the day‑to‑day operation and coordination of the Guest Experience, working closely with Concierge, Front Desk, Call Center, and Guest Services, and support other departments as needed. Handle all Guest Experience functions: update guest profiles, complete itineraries, assign amenities, prepare personalized welcome letters, and cross‑reference guest comments, profile notes, traces, and verify room assignments and Notable Guest standards. Enhance pre‑arrival guest interaction by following up via email or phone to complete the pre‑arrival process; verify ETA/ETD, room preference, view, amenities, snacks, beverages, extra toiletries, and housekeeping service timing. Inspect Notable Guest rooms and itineraries, ensuring set‑up matches guest preferences or requests, and record notes in the guest profile. Proactively enhance the entire guest experience from post‑arrival to pre‑departure as required. Act as an ambassador of the hotel by assisting guests with reservations, information, amenities, local attractions, spa, and dining bookings. Serve as an active member of the leadership team; build professional relationships and actively involve all hotel operations in daily and weekly activities. Qualifications Management & Leadership Skills – at least 2 years’ experience in Front Office/Guest Services. Detail‑oriented and adept at multitasking. Self‑motivated with a curiosity and eagerness to learn. Knowledgeable in upselling, sales, and offering in‑house experiences. Benefits Package Paid time off, sick and safe time.
