Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and based on assessment findings.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy during individual, group, and family sessions.

• Monitor and document clients' therapy progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each client.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to mental health services, ensuring they receive the necessary community resources.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes a diverse group of individuals and families seeking support for various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. As an LMFT, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on clients by helping them understand their emotions and develop coping strategies to manage their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly focusing on mood disorders.
\n
• Proficiency with evidence-based treatment methodologies, especially CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
\n
• A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes in addressing mood disorders.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within a remote therapy environment is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth systems and platforms will enhance your ability to engage with clients effectively while maintaining a high standard of care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
